Tiny Vacuum powered by USB

Yes there are thousands of cool gadgets which you can use together with your computer. But we bet you haven't seen one of these cool gadgets.

This minuscule vacuum cleaner connects to a computer through USB. Cookie crumbs, cigarette ashes, dust this USB Desk Vacuum Cleaner takes care of it.

This gadget mimics a genuine upright vacuum by going from upright to almost flat in order to get under those hard-to-reach areas behind your computer monitor.

The 45" cord makes sure you can clean your entire desk.

This gadget is perfect for neat freaks and for $20 it makes a perfect christmas gift for a friend.

pen as cellphone

We at gadgetcool love cool gadgets, especially when they are compact and are not what they seem to be.

Take this pen for example, looks like an ordinary pen, right? Think again, this pen is actually a cellphone.

This gadget is still in concept stage, which means it doesn't exist yet. But here are some details: the pen is designed to connect with Bluetooth headsets, it will have a USB connector, a microSD slot, a mono LCD screen to show numbers and any other information you expect to be on a cellphone.

Numbers are dialed with a touch interface number system, which is etched into the pen itself. The USB connector also doubles as a control wheel to scroll through address books and call navigation.

The pen acts as an antenna, as it's nine inches long. And guess what, the pen actually writes!

We really like this design, and remember, , if you have to write down a phonenumber someone gives you, wouldn't it be silly to ask to borrow a pen, when there's one in your ear?

Google Takes a Splash into the Deep Blue

Dive operators, dive guides and seasoned divers may soon have a new “toy” to play with - contributing details of diving hot spots around the world right down to the water conditions and maybe, just maybe to the species of corals and the residents living there.

Rumor has it that Google is brewing an exciting 3D ocean map with the help of marine experts and in selected areas, providing us with high-resolution pictures.

Google’s foray into the ocean comes as no surprise really - with the (Google) Earth and (Google) Sky already covered, it’s probably the next best extension of the project.

I’d say the guys behind Asia Dive Site would definitely have plenty to contribute. So would many, many other websites.

And for those who do not fancy descending 70 feet into the deep blue sea, it’s time to get ready to take a tour underwater - all dry.

WEB SENSE

Websense is a San Diego, California-based company which produces web filtering software, also known as Internet content-control software of the same name. The blockage created by this software has led to the creation of the word "websensed". The company also provides customers with Information Leak Prevention software, technology the company acquired in January 2007 from PortAuthority Technologies. While it is aimed at businesses and other large entities (such as governments, for their employees), it also sees use in libraries and schools. It has come under criticism from civil liberties groups on grounds that it restricts the free flow of speech.[1] The company was founded by Phil Trubey in 1994.[2] Its tagline is "Securing Productivity," reflecting one of the three main concerns prompting installation of its filtering software: (1) legal liability, (2) bandwidth, and (3) productivity.[3]Websense is designed to allow system administrators to block access to web sites (and other protocols) based on categories. These categories contain lists of sites that can be blocked. Separate categories can be blocked at all times or only during certain times of the day. The software also allows organizations to offer a "continue button," which allows users to go to a blocked category if it is work related.[5]
